Namibia the unexplored Heaven
Located in the south west of Africa, namibia is distiguished by its Namib Desert which is located by the coast of Atlantic Ocean. but what makes it so different from the other countries. Lets see what Namibia has to offer if you planing for a trip.
Namibia as said is located in south west of Africa and Namibia has its name from the Namib Desert which is one of the oldest deserts on Planet.
Before letting you know about the people i must have to tell you guys that Namibia has 2nd least population. With Population of about 2.2 million. Namibians are Owambo, Kavango, Herero, Himba, Damara, Nama, Topnaars, Rehoboth Basters, Coloureds, Caprivians, Bushmen (San), Tswanas, and the Whites.
First of all the things if you are Non Veg then the Lambs and Buffalo’s are free of any chemical or antibiotics making it totally natural and safe to eat. Well Biltong is the most famous dish which made from Beef and is air dried meat. If you are planning to visit then do try the Barbecue cooked on a Braai. Potjiekos is made usually on camp fire and is made with almost anything but meat and vegetable are common.
Namibia has a blend of different cultures including the oldest inhabitants of Africa the Bushmen and recently arrived Whites. The Coral tradition brought in from Germany is widely seen. The tribes which once spread across the Africa have now sanctuaries in Namibia and Botswana.
The Tribes still wear the same traditional clothes which is a rare thing to explore.
Windhoek which isalso the Capital of Namibia is the largest city in terms of population.
Swakopmund is located at the coast of Atlantic ocean. This city was established by the Germans in 1892.
Walvis Bay is a port town on the coast of Namibia. Sheltered by the Pelican Point sand spit, its tidal lagoon is home to abundant birdlife including flamingos, pelicans and Damara terns.
