SO the tech giant Apple after getting a lot of criticism it has finally issued an apology and has actually taken a step to reduce the price of an out-of-warranty battery replacement from $79 to $29.
In a post, more a message which was posted on Apple’s Website, they acknowledged that the it was miscommunicated what was happening with its battery draining and power managing features that were added in latest IOS updates at least a year back.

From the company’s apology:
We’ve been hearing feedback from our customers about the way we handle performance for iPhones with older batteries and how we have communicated that process. We know that some of you feel Apple has let you down. We apologize. There’s been a lot of misunderstanding about this issue, so we would like to clarify and let you know about some changes we’re making.
Well if you are a end user and your Phones were perfect before the update and now you are bound to pay 29$ then we still think that this apology means nothing to user as end user has to pay for what’s Company is responsible for.
